The Woodson County Treasurer's Office is a public office of which you would apply for tags, and pay taxes. Our office distributes the different tax monies and tracks the county's different funds. We also serve as a basic driver's license station. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8am-12pm 1pm-5pm except on holidays. Our Driver's License station is open Tuesday through Friday. The position of "County Treasurer" is an elected position. The Woodson County Treasurer's position is currently held by Raymond K. Hite. Ray was elected into office November 1992 and is the forty-first Treasurer elected for Woodson County since 1859.
