Refunds

There are several issues to dissolve in order to know if you qualify for a refund on your tag.  You have to have sold the vehicle, meaning the title has to be signed over to someone other than yourself.  If this is the case you need to bring the tag and registration to the office for a refund.  We will need to have your social security number and your signature on the application for refund.  You will be asked the name of the purchaser of your sold vehicle.  If you are not able to come to the office we have forms you can send in with your plate and registration in order to get your refund.  You might also qualify for a refund if you move out of state.  If you think you qualify, but are not sure, feel free to contact our office to find out.
