Acceptable Proof of Insurance

Kansas law now requires that current proof of insurance verifying the company name, policy number, the vehicle's identification number, and the expiration date must be presented before registration is issued.  The state is currently working on an electronic verification system that will automatically enter your insurance information.  However, only a few insurance companies have agreed to comply with this system.  If this is not available to you it is acceptable to have your insurance company fax a copy of your insurance to our office. Our fax number is (620) 625-8651.  Our fee for faxed copies is $0.50 a copy.
